On December 3, 2021, during a working visit to Moscow, the de facto Prime Minister of the Tskhinvali region, Gennady Bekoev, met with the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Dmitry Volvach.

The topic of the meeting was the implementation of the socio-economic development program of the Republic of South Ossetia for 2022-2025 and intergovernmental relations. The 2022-2025 investment program focuses on the industrial sector, agriculture, tourism and recreation, and its implementation will begin in the first months of the new year.
