On May 23, 2019, Anatoly Bibilov, de facto President of Tskhinvali Region, discussed the issue of implementation of investment program, financed by Russia, at the meeting with Igor Koshin, Deputy Minister of North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation. Koshin, curator at the Ministry to Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region, paid three day working visit to Tskhinvali.

According to Bibilov, some works are being conducted before due date, some with delay. Preparation of investment program for 2020-2022 was also discussed at the meeting. According to Bibilov projects included in the program for 2020 are already being prepared. Koshin noted that investment program for 2018 has been completed almost by 100% for the first time. Koshin praised the projects timely implementation.
