Servicemen of the 7th and 4th military bases of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region are preparing for the Tank Biathlon competition at the Prudboy military training ground in Russia. The competition is one of the components of the International Army Games.

Participants use T-72B3 tanks. The exercises will test the speed of passing a specific distance, the accuracy of hitting targets and other skills.

Commanders of the Southern Military District highlighted a steady increase in the level of combat training of military personnel and their readiness for competitions.
