Artillerymen carried out exercises at the 4th military base of the Russian Federation in the Tskhinvali region. Field exercises are also underway at military bases in Armenia and the Astrakhan region.

As part of the exercises, military servicemen are developing tactical, special and technical as well as fire management skills, performing control shooting and destroying targets of a conditional opponent located at a 15 km distance.

The purpose of the exercises is to gradually organize artillery units, develop military skills of the personnel, improve the practical operation of the command staff in terms of fire management, etc.
