The de facto Minister of Economy of Abkhazia, Kristina Ozgan, met with the Russian Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, and his deputy, Dmitri Volvach.

At the meeting, the parties talked about the issue of creating a single legal space, discussed “interstate” support programs, restoring air traffic and joint investment projects.

According to Reshetnikov, the talks also touched on the implementation of the 2022-2025 program promoting the socio-economic development of the de facto republic. A bilateral agreement will be signed to assist in the implementation of the program which covers several key areas: tourism, infrastructure, service sector, restoration of air traffic based on the relevant regulatory document and the improvement of the investment climate as a result of legislative changes.
