The Federal Agency for CIS States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Affairs (Russian House) handed over 20 thousand textbooks to the library fund of the Ministry of Education of the de facto Republic of the Tskhinvali region. According to Sergey Skvortsov, the Head of the Russian House office in the occupied Tskhinvali region, the mentioned event is another stage of the Development of Education Russian state program.

Skvortsov also noted that work is currently being underway on the issue of providing various literature to the de facto ministries.

In January, Russian House donated 4 thousand books to the de facto Ministry of Culture, and 7 thousand textbooks to the “State” University of South Ossetia.
