The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the de facto republic of Abkhazia, Inal Ardzinba, met with the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, Maksut Shadaev.

The meeting discussed the prospect of creating an IT park in the occupied Abkhazia with the involvement of specialists from partner countries, as well as cooperation with leading Russian IT companies such as Yandex, VK and the digitalization of public services.

Shadaev briefed Ardzinba about the opportunities available in Russia for Abkhaz students and teachers who want to undergo educational programs in the field of IT. Various aspects of implementation of IT projects in the trilateral format - Abkhazia-Russia-Belarus were also touched upon at the meeting.
