Set of educational and scientific-methodical events were held in Abkhazia under the project „Russian language – step in future towards Russian educational, scientific and cultural achievements“.

Purpose of the events was to expand geography and scope of Russian language use, popularize Russian education, science and culture, as well as promote professional and cultural links between Russian and Abkhazian teachers. Educational program was conducted in two stages, involving more than 500 participants. 

Events were organized in partnership with the Federal University of North Caucasus and supported by the Federal Agency for CIS States, Compatriots living Abroad and International Humanitarian Affairs.
