On December 28, 2018, the Tskhinvali Region Representation of Federal Agency for CIS States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Affairs has announced competition for applicants to the Russian higher education institutions.

The competition will be held in two stages. Quotas to Russian higher education institutions are allocated for the Tskhinvali Region applicants for 2019/2020 academic year.
