As part of bilateral tactical exercises, engineer-sapper unit specialists of the 7th Russian military base in Abkhazia prepared defensive bridgehead at Nagvalou military polygon.
On February 21, 2019, in Moscow, at the Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation, Minister Sergey Chebotarev met with de facto Prime Minster of Abkhazia Valery Bganba. Igor Koshin, Deputy to Chabotarev, and Igor Akhba, Russian „ambassador“ to Abkhazia, also attended the meeting.
