A delegation of the de facto parliament of Abkhazia arrived in Volgograd on May 12 to participate in the 34th conference of the South Russian Parliamentary Association.

The Speaker of the People's Assembly of Abkhazia, Valery Kvarchia, attended the 34th session of the Council of the Parliamentary Association of southern Russia, which was held in the national military-historical museum complex of the Great Patriotic War, in Rostov-on-Don.

Members of the de facto parliament of Abkhazia participated in the conference of the South Russian Parliamentary Association. Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the conference was held online on October 15-16.

On May 17, 2019, in Tskhinvali, parliament of the sixth convocation held a ceremonial meeting to mark completion of its work. Guests from de facto Republic of Abkhazia, separatist regimes of Ukraine Donetsk and Lugansk and North Ossetia Republic-Alania attended the session. Petr Gasiev, the Speaker of de facto Parliament hosted them.
