On July 4, the Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Reshetnikov, paid a working visit to the occupied Abkhazia. The de facto Minister of Economy, Kristina Ozgan, the Russian “Ambassador,” Mikhail Shurgalin, and other members of the de facto government met the guest in Gagra.
In Moscow, The Minister of Internal Affairs of the de facto Republic of Abkhazia, Robert Kyut, met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia, Igor Zubov. Zubov supervises the occupied regions of Georgia in the ministry.

Lasha Ashuba, the Speaker of the Parliament of the de facto republic of Abkhazia, held a working meeting in the Russian State Duma.
