Today, the de facto President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania,  met with the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia, Colonel-General Ilya Denisov.

The de facto President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, and his delegation, met with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, in Kazan. The meeting was held within the framework of relations between Russia and Abkhazia. The parties talked about cooperation in the industrial, infrastructural and innovative fields.

Russian “ambassador” to Abkhazia, Aleksey Dvinianin, met with the de facto President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania. The “ambassador” introduced to Bzhania a new Head of the Border Division of the Russian Federal Security Service, A. Yu. Kudimov. 

The de facto President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, congratulated commanders and personnel of the Abkhaz army on the 28th anniversary of the creation of the Armed Forces of the De facto Republic.

The de facto leaders of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region, Aslan Bzhania and Anatoly Bibilov, met with Dmitry Kozak, the Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration. 

On June 24, 2020, in Moscow, de facto President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania and de facto President of the Tskhinvali Region Anatoly Bibilov  participated in the parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in WWII. During the visit Bzhania and Bibilov also met with the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin Palace.
