A military hospital deployed in Abkhazia completed the operation. The multi-disciplinary mobile hospital was sent by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. It was placed in the city of Sokhumi on August 18.

The number of people wishing to get vaccinated with the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus significantly increased in the Tskhinvali region. As of July 20, a total of 702 people received the first component of the Sputnik V, and 308 received both components of the vaccine.
