Federal Agency for CIS States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Affairs Representation in Abkhazia, has launched Russian language courses online.

Effective early 2020, center for receiving education in Russian and learning Russian language will be opened on the base of the Pedagogical Faculty of so-called State University of Abkhazia.

On October 15-19, the project of raising qualification of Russian language teachers was implemented in Tskhinvali Region. Events promoting professional and cultural ties of Russian and Tskhinvali Region teachers took place in Tskhinvali and Akhalgori.

Set of educational and scientific-methodical events were held in Abkhazia under the project „Russian language – step in future towards Russian educational, scientific and cultural achievements“.
