During his visit to Crimea occupied by the Russian Federation, Anatoly Bibilov, de facto President of Tskhinvali Region, discussed possibility of implementing joint projects with de facto Governor of Sevastopol.

Tank-men of the 7th military base of Russian Federation in Abkhazia, underwent modern tanks (T-72B3) underwater driving training course at Prubdoi Military Polygon, Volgograd Oblast.

Raul Khajimba, de facto President of Abkhazia, hosted Alexandr Yushenko, MP of the State Duma of Russian Federation, member of Communist Party. Khajimba thanked Russian MP for his support to Abkhazia and efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

At the extraordinary session, State Council of de facto Republic of Crimea, annexed by Russian Federation, approved agreement on cooperation with Tskhinvali Region in trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural fields.

On August 6, 2019, in Sochi, Raul Khajimba, de facto President of Abkhazia, met with Vladimir Putin, President of Russian Federation, and discussed prospects for enhancing joint socio-economic cooperation.

At the 7th military base of Russian Federation in Abkhazia, military-patriotic camp for „Yunarmiya“ will be opened for the first time. All-Russia Military Patriotic Social Association „Yunarmiya“ was established by the Ministry of Defence of Russia and is supported by the President of Russia.

Within the frameworks of joint exercises, divisions of anti-aircraft missile complexes of the 7th military base of Russian Federation, will exercise to repulse conditional enemy missile and air attacks. Exercises will take place at Kapustin Yar and Ashuluk polygons, in Astrakhan Oblast.

De facto government of Abkhazia signed agreement between de facto government of Abkhazia and Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of plants quarantine, which will  further intensify pest management.

Divisions of „С-300 «Фаворит»“ anti-aircraft missile complexes of the 7th Russian military base in Abkhazia participated in 10-day event at Anti-Aircraft Missile Divisions Training Center in Moscow District.

As Anatoly Bibilov, De facto president of Tskhinvali Region, told the reporters „South Ossetia must be part of Russia and Ossetian people must get united“.As Bibilov stated, if people are divided, they will no longer develop, ideology should be one - unification of Ossetian people and development of this united ethnicity in „Russia’s fairway, general development vector of Russian Federation.”

At Russian military base in Abkhazia, more than half of spring call-up recruits took an oath. In Spring, totally 500 young servicemen arrived in Abkhazia and underwent initial mandatory general military training before taking an oath.

According to the Chairman of the State Duma of Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, at the next session will be reviewed the appeal of de facto parliament of Tskhinvali Region on recognition “South Ossetians“ Genocide committed by Georgia in 1920“. Members of the State Duma supported Volodin's statement to thoroughly study Tskhinvali appeal.

Servicemen of motorised infantry and artillery units of Russian military base in Abkhazia repelled conditional enemy attack in mountainous areas.

De facto Minister of Defense and servicemen of the 4th Russian military base conducted joint command-staff exercises. Exercises lasted several days and were headed by Staff-Commander of Southern Military District of Russian Federation.

According to de facto Minister of Healthcare, Tamaz Tsakhnakia, de facto Healthcare Ministry of Abkhazia will pay the debt of 31 million 120 thousand RUB against Russian clinics by the end of the month. The debt accrued in 2012-2017.
